This Privacy Policy explains how Transacta (the “App”), developed and operated by Tornike Despotashvili, collects, uses, and protects information. By using the App, you agree to the terms described below.

1. What data the App accesses

To provide its core functionality — presenting Apple Pay transactions and related card/bank information in a single view — the App accesses transaction and card metadata only through Apple’s FinanceKit / Apple Pay APIs with explicit user permission. Examples of accessed data include:

• Transaction date, merchant name (as provided by the payment provider), amount, and currency
• Card identification metadata necessary to distinguish transactions by card (no full card numbers)
• Basic account/card labels the user has configured (to present a meaningful UX)

Important: The App does not request nor store full card numbers, CVC codes, or card-holder authentication credentials.

2. How we use the data

The App uses the accessed data only to:

• Display the user’s Apple Pay transactions in a single, unified dashboard
• Allow filtering, searching, and categorization of the user’s transactions locally on the device
• Support local biometric protection (Face ID / Touch ID) so only the device owner can view the data

The App does not transmit or store your transaction data on external servers, nor does it combine your transactions with other users’ data.

3. No data selling or third-party sharing

The App will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information or financial transaction data to third parties. There is no sharing of your transaction data with advertisers, analytics companies, brokers, or other commercial entities.

4. No control or tracking of users

The App does not request or collect information that would enable the developer or any third party to remotely control, surveil, or track a user. The App only reads data accessible via the device’s FinanceKit/Apple Pay APIs under the permissions granted by the user and by Apple’s platform policies.

5. Biometric protection (Face ID / Touch ID)

The App integrates with the device’s biometric APIs (Face ID / Touch ID) to provide local authentication. Biometric authentication is used only to unlock access to the App’s UI on the device. Biometric data never leaves the device and is not sent to the developer or any external service. Only the authenticated device user (the device owner) can unlock and view the App’s financial data.

6. Data storage and retention

By default, all transaction and card data accessed through FinanceKit / Apple Pay is stored locally on the user’s device. The App does not back up or transmit transaction data to the developer’s servers. If you choose to export or back up your data locally (for example, an optional CSV export stored on your device), those files are under your control and responsibility.

If at any time the App introduces optional cloud backup or server features, separate explicit consent and a revised privacy policy will be provided.

7. Third-party services and links

The App does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or marketing services that collect your transaction data. If the App offers links to external sites or services, those sites have their own privacy policies and are not covered by this policy.

8. Security

The developer employs standard security practices to protect the App and local data (for example, using platform-recommended secure storage and encryption where applicable). However, no system is perfectly secure — please protect your device with a strong passcode and keep your device OS up to date.

9. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the App and view any transaction data that the App displays on your device;
• Request deletion of any exported files you created;
• Delete and uninstall the App at any time — uninstalling the App removes local data stored by the App on the device;

10. Children

This App is not intended for children under 13. The App does not knowingly collect or process data of children under 13.

11. Financial disclaimer

The App is a tool for viewing and organizing transaction information. It is not financial advice. The developer is not a financial institution and does not provide banking services. For specific financial advice, consult a licensed financial professional.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If material changes are made that affect how we use your data, we will update the “Last updated” date above and notify users in-app where possible. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

13. Compliance with Apple

This App is built using Apple platform APIs and is intended to comply with Apple’s App Store policies and the Apple End User License Agreement (EULA). Use of Apple Pay and FinanceKit is subject to Apple’s developer and platform policies.

14. No ads

The App does not show advertisements and does not monetize user transaction data through advertising.
